The Activator Method

I had only received manual type Chiropractic adjustments before I went to Chiropractic school. I didn?t even know there was anything else at the time. The first time I received an Activator adjustment was from another student and I thought, that?s lame. Then 3 years later I was suffering from unrelenting Sciatica, even though I was getting manual adjustments all the time.

I started trying many techniques then I decided to try that Activator Method again but this time from one of the instructors. Almost immediately (3-4 weeks, this was a chronic problem for many years) I was better! So I took the elective classes and became an Instructor when I graduated.

Chiropractic is a Science, Art, and a Philosophy. The science is all about the structure function and neurology, the Philosophy is The body has the ability to heal as long as there is no interference. The ART is how all chiropractors practice a little differently from each other, even when using a similar technique. Most chiropractors are continuously learning to refine their ART. In 30 years of practice Activator has helped so many people that it has remained my main technique.
